One of the aspects of working with second-hand or used denim jackets is that sometimes they arrive in a state which isn’t really suitable for re-sale. These jackets include odd staining which doesn’t come out no matter how many times it’s washed, discolouration from age, etc.

Whenever I obtain a jacket of that type, I try to make it extra special, not just to literally cover up those marks but to make sure these jackets – perfectly fine otherwise – get a chance at a second life and avoid the landfill.

A side effect of this approach is that I get to exercise some extra artistic licence and creativity when painting! Covering up pockets, jacket arms, collars and whatever else strikes my fancy, creating truly unique and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Pricing:
All Special Jackets are priced individually based on the time it took to paint them.
Please bear in mind that for any multicoloured designs I first have to lay down a layer of white for the best colour pay off. This means that every layer of coloured paint took twice as long to create than its standard black or white counterpart.

All jacket prices include a standing charge of £7 for materials and processing (washing, drying, ironing etc.)
